International council for conflict resolution
The foundation carries forward the spirit by championing causes that empower the underprivileged, supporting them in areas such as education, healthcare, and overcoming life’s challenges. At the heart of Maadhyam’s mission to promote conflict resolution lies the Kewal Memorial Foundation (KMF), its philanthropic extension. While Maadhyam works tirelessly to impart training and skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practices like mediation and Arbitration, it also strives to address the root causes of conflicts. KMF embodies Maadhyam’s belief in creating a more harmonious and conflict-free world by supporting the most vulnerable members of society, helping them overcome life’s challenges, and integrating them into the mainstream.
KMF was established in 2021 in loving memory of Kewal Singh Ahuja, one of Maadhyam’s founding members. This initiative was born during the tumultuous period of the COVID-19 pandemic a time when humanity grappled with immense loss, and every small act of kindness made a significant impact. Amid this global crisis, Maadhyam resolved to contribute to society in a meaningful way, leading to the creation of KMF.

The COVID-19 pandemic marked one of the darkest periods in recent history, with an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. During this time, KMF stepped forward to provide oxygen concentrators, a lifesaving resource that was critically scarce. Leveraging the strong network of Maadhyam’s members, KMF ensured that advocates, mediators, and their families in dire need received these vital machines. Each life saved was a testament to the foundation’s commitment to humanity and its mission of making a difference.
At KMF, we believe that educating a girl transforms an entire family. With this philosophy, the foundation has supported numerous girls from economically weaker in pursuing their dreams of higher education. KMF even supported a young girl pursuing her masters at Oxford University. Seeing these young women aspire and pave the way for future generations is immensely gratifying. We believe in lighting the torch of enlightenment that will shine for generations to come.
Physical disability should never hinder an individual’s pursuit of their ambitions. KMF is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with physical challenges have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive. By providing assistive equipment, KMF enables these professionals and individuals to compete on an equal footing, proving that ambition and determination can overcome any obstacle. KMF recently donated a fully automatic wheelchair to a differently abled advocate.
Kewal Memorial Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for the underprivileged, demonstrating that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a significant impact. With every initiative, whether supporting education, providing healthcare resources, or empowering individuals, KMF remains steadfast in its commitment to a conflict-free, inclusive, and harmonious society
KMF organised a Mega Health camp in the month of January 2025.
