Round Table Delhi was organised by Maadhyam to:
– take the momentum and bonding generated at last national meeting at Mahabalipuram forward through a national perspective
on mediation and actions that are necessary for such a perspective.
– to discuss and to build a consensus on a mediation law in India in view of a draft law already in place.
– to build a consensus on how to take private mediation forward.
– to build a consensus on actions required by mediation institutions and mediators to operationalize the Singapore Convention.
Team Maadhyam held a National Roundtable of Mediators on the theme ‘Weaving a Change’ on 2nd November 2019 at India International center. It received am overwhelming response from friends and fellow Mediators from all over the country. The retreat brought the mediation family from many parts of India to discuss and plan th next important steps that were crucial to growth and future development of mediation movement, especially that of private mediation.
The Roundtable began with the introduction of all fellow mediators attending the programme. The President of Maadhyam, welcomed all participants and emphasized that all mediators in the country must work together as a family to take the mediation movement forward. He underlines the importance of synergizing our energies and adopting a futuristic approach with common aim of individually and collectively helping people resolve their disputes to further peace and harmony in society.
